Make it a habit to see everything from the uncommon corners, because all the unnoticed things will be visible when looking from the ignored angles.

I view the world in aesthetic rather than purely utilitarian terms. So when my first salaried position out of graduate school was administrative (albeit, with a wonderful philanthropic organization and amazing people), I found myself growing restless. So, I turned in my resignation and took a substantial cut in pay in order to get my foot in the door at a multimedia production company and now – many years later – remain firmly convinced that was the best decision I could possibly have made.
Working primarily within the educational publishing and medical association spaces, I bring a focus on team-building, client satisfaction, and polished, attractive work that presents those clients in a professional light. For the past eight years, I’ve been privileged to ply my craft on behalf of the American Osteopathic Association and its state-level affiliate groups – producing conference and marketing materials; updating/upgrading branding assets; transitioning websites into WordPress so that they both look more professional and are infinitely easier to update. Invariably, they’ve been pleased…and I derive great satisfaction from THEIR satisfaction.
