This is a client-supplied 3D mesh of an artificial knee joint textured, lit, and animated in Lightwave 3D to illustrate function and range of motion. Given the highly technical nature of the product, it was especially important that the motion shown be precise, so there was quite a bit of research involved – not to mention trial and error. The client was quite pleased with the end result.
